About Akhuwat Foundation’s mission is to provide interest-free loans to underserved communities in Pakistan, promoting self-reliance and financial inclusion.

Akhuwat goal is to reduce poverty by lending families and individuals in need interest-free loans.

Our goal is to enable individuals to use financial support to better their quality of life free from interest load. Akhuwat offers a road to financial independence, dignity, and opportunity, thereby transforming society rather than being a loan provider.

Main goal is to build a society in which everyone, from all walks of life, has opportunity to flourish. Our goal in offering interest-free loans is to lower the disparities in our society and create conditions whereby people could flourish on their own terms.

Since our inception, About Akhuwat Foundation has provided over 6 million loans, totaling billions of rupees, to individuals in need.

These loans have helped fund education, healthcare, small businesses, and agriculture, creating a ripple effect of positive change across Pakistan. With more than 800 branches nationwide, we continue to expand our reach and serve more communities.

Our Founder – Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib

Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib founded Akhuwat with a vision to empower those who have been left behind by traditional financial institutions. His journey began with the idea that interest-free loans could offer people a way out of poverty, and since then, Akhuwat has grown into the largest microfinance organization in Pakistan. Dr. Saqib believes in the power of community, trust, and compassion to drive social change.
